Kinxofsuburbia: Guys you´re toghether as a band for a few years now. What was your Motivation to come toghether as a band?
GRIEVER: We´ve been a band since 3 years now, 2012. Johnny, David and Luke are the founding members. We started toghether in humble beginnings, jamming at home, rehearsing covers from other bands, and finally we´d found that Sound we all wanted to pursue.
Then we recorded a few demos, and put them on our Social Media. We got such a great reaction from fans, so we decided to Keep going with GRIEVER.
Kinxofsuburbia: You´ve had some big live Shows and shared stages with bands like "Dead by April" "Unearth" and a lot more. Could you remember the most exciting one?
GRIEVER: For sure! Probably playing with "Unearth" at our hometown EP release Show was one to remember. Also playing at Takedown Festivals alongside bands such as "Bleed from within", "Fearless Vampire Killers" or "Heart of a Coward" was pretty cool.
Kinxofsuburbia: A lot of People still think that metalcore is only a Kind of screaming. But you Show that metalcore could also be Music with a deeper meaning and emotional lyrics. Could you tell us your inspiration in songwriting?
GRIEVER: We definitely have a few emotionally driven Songs in our Arsenal, as well as the more brutal ones. Lyrics are all written by David, our Vocalist. They´re inspired from the real-life experiences. We all could say he is a "No bullshit" lyricist and everything comes from his heart.
Kinxofsuburbia: Inspiration in real life is a perfect way for lyrics, but also an inspiration by other bands Sound is important we think. Are there any you got be inspired?
GRIEVER: Musically, we are inspired by the old-school metalcore legends such as "Unearth", "As I Lay Dying", or "Darkest Hour". Visually we love the dark atmosphere given at live Shows from bands like "Motionless in White" or some black metal bands.
Kinxofsuburbia: Right now you´re up in the Studio recording a new EP for upcoming 2016. Could you tell something about it?
GRIEVER: The EP is actually fully recorded now. It consists of a 6 brand new tracks, with an even mixture of heavy, melodic but all equally intense. We really hope that a lot of fans will connect with it and also hope it attracts a lot of new ears to our music.
Be sure that we are ready to tour the shit out of it in 2016.
