Q&A with "Something you Whisper"

Something you Whisper is a 5 members hardcore band out of Cambridge, Canada. Matched up of Wes Will (Vocals), Tom McArthur (Drums), Austin Palladini (Guitar), Kyle Adshade (Guitar) and Brian Shepherd (Bass) they're a talented band with an amazing Sound. We've talked to the guys and here it is - Our Question and Answer with "SYW"

SoS: You've already played shows with bands like silverstein. What should be your next big step, if you could influence it?

SYW: We've followed the Warped tour, promoted our band, and met some people in the industry, but unfortunately haven't played. I think that would be the biggest step for us moving forward. But first we'll play a few live shows soon, which you could Check out on our Facebook. 

SoS: Your latest release "Scream my Name" is out a few days, next step your new EP? What could we expect of, and how would you describe your musical progress? 

SYW: Well, July 15th was the release date for the Deluxe Edition of our 2015 EP 'Beautiful Sins'. This edition features 3 new songs in addition to the original 5. These new tracks really take the theme of the original EP and expands on it. There are a lot of different emotions in each song, and we hope that people can connect with the story each song tells.

SoS: You're a band but also good friend. There'll be also conflicts for sure, how did you solve dispute?

SYW: When you're in a band there will always be conflicts. We've been together for so long now that we just know how to go about dealing with it in such a way that everyone knows to not take things personally, and know that everyone is on the same team.

SoS: Your populairity grows up each day, Fans of different Countrys listen ur music. Is there something planned to take ur music over to other Countrys, so Far?

SYW: It's really amazing to see that people from all over the world have listened to our music. We'd love to play in different countries. I think the first step for us is to play shows in the United States, and then maybe one day, branch out to other countries.

SoS: What bands are you listen to? Are there bands that are like a kind of inspiration? 

SYW: We all listen to different music, and each member brings different influences to the table. Our influences range from The Weeknd to Bring Me The Horizon. 

SoS: If someone'd say "Post Hardcore Bands" sounds all simular, what would you say - what's your Difference to other bands?

SYW: In any sub-genre there is bound to be a lot of similarities between bands. You could say that about power metal, or death metal. To know our Difference you only have to listen our Songs. 
SoS: Last one, because we're a german Blog, what's in your mind first, if you hear "Germany" (musicians, people, words, Food,...) 

SYW: We would all love to go visit Germany. We know how much you guys love to rock out! 
.... Maybe "Something you Whisper" will play one of the german big Rock festivals in future.
